Corporate Sponsorship

Zoo Friends is a not for profit organization and we have over 54,000 active members.

We directly support the Zoos' conservation and education programs.

In 2006/2007 we funded the following:

  • $255,000 towards our $500,000 committment to the Silvery Gibbon exhibit and ongoing conservation breeding program at Taronga Zoo.
  • $8,000 towards a new chimp feeding platform at Taronga.
  • $10,000 for staff from both zoos to attend the 2006 ARAZPA Conference which supports the Zoos in their conservation goals

Fifty per cent of membership subscriptions goes automatically to Taronga and Taronga Western Plains Zoo. This has amounted to over $1.3 millioin last year.

In addition to this fifty percent, $10.00 of every subscription also goes directly to the Taronga Foundation in support of the Zoological Parks Board's master plan. Last year we contributed over $367,991.

Although donations to Zoo Friends are not tax deductible, we appreciate any corporate sponsorship towards our conservation and education projects.

Thanks for your support...

We would like to thank our sponsors for helping us support critical conservation and wildlife projects.
